Paul Newman was an American actor, film director, producer, race car driver, and philanthropist. He was born on January 26, 1925, in Shaker Heights, Ohio, USA, and he passed away on September 26, 2008, in Westport, Connecticut, USA.

Newman gained fame for his exceptional acting talent and charismatic presence, becoming one of Hollywood's most beloved and respected actors. He starred in numerous classic films throughout his career, earning critical acclaim and several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the film "The Color of Money" (1986). Newman was also nominated for several other Academy Awards for his roles in films such as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (1958), "The Hustler" (1961), "Hud" (1963), and "Cool Hand Luke" (1967).
